Concerts held


Dr. Fitri Haris or affectionately known as Dr.Pit, founded ‘This is Nasyid’ module in 2018. Since then, he has organised ‘This is Nasyid’ concerts in Malaysia, UK and Egypt under Niyat Edutainment.

In 2020, Dr. Pit was entrusted with the responsibility to do a research study on Islamic music and nasyid. With the cooperation offered by the government, namely the Ministry of Communication and Multimedia Malaysia through the Digital Content Fund as well as support by SCIMPA, University Utara Malaysia and Munsyid Malaysia, a press conference was held on 15 December 2020 to launch the research framework called ‘THIS IS NASYID’ – Making Popular of Islamic Music in Malaysia: A Makers’ Perspective.
